  On a main road, easy to find with ample parking. To the rear Of The Inn is the River Severn and benthall edge, also the soon to disappear power station. Outdoor seating is available for those warmer sunny evenings. Decor is starting to look a little faded here...noticably tables and carpets. Waitress was pleasant and efficient, drinks served quickly as was the food. I had scampi and chips and they were exactly how I expected them and a good portion size. My partner had a mixed grill...he was a little disappointed with the meat but managed most of it without too much complaint. Too full for a pudding but there was a good choice on offer. I last visited several years ago and it was definitely busier which probably gave it more of an atmosphere than on our visit. Overall it was OK as we were passing but I wouldn't choose it as a special destination meal out.

  Recently went for a family birthday meal. Such a shame that out of 6 of us my meal had been forgotten.
  I was promised my meal would be ready in 2 minutes but by the time it materialised everyone else had finished. I had lost my appetite by then and rushed my food as the others were waiting to leave. A ruined birthday meal. It's been a long time since I've been to the meadow and won't be in a rush to return.
